Interactive "Bhagavad-gita As It Is" CD-ROM

This interactive CD-ROM is an outstanding audio-visual presentation of Srila Prabhpada's classic translation of the Bhagavad-gita. It took three years to produce.

Apart from the full text and audio rendition of the book verses, this CD-ROM features audio-visual shows on each of the Bhagavad-gita's five core topics -- the individual soul, the Supreme Controller (God), Nature, Karma and the Time factor.

There is also a 35-minute video on the fascinating life of Srila Prabhupada, the author. And multimedia how-to-dos on useful subjects like how to chant the mahamantra on beads and cooking and offering food to Krishna (God).

More features:
- Under Analogies and Examples, you'll find multimedia material to explain and illustrate many key points of the Bhagavad-gita. For example, there is an animated clip to explain the process of Reincarnation.

- Under Chapter Summaries, you can read an illustrated summary of each chapter of the Bhagavad-Gita.

- Under History and Tradition, you'll see an audio-visual presentation of the historical background and setting of the Bhagavad-gita, a sacred discourse between Lord Krishna and the warrior Arjuna on the battlefield of Kurukshetra five thousand years ago. The Gita is a section of a larger Vedic text called Mahabharata, a work of 100,000 verses -- the longest poem in the world. Here you can read a short summary of the Mahabharata too.
